Barangay VI (Pob.)

Barangay VI (Pob.) forms part of Daet, a municipality in Camarines Norte, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay VI (Pob.) had a population of 1,911. This made it the 23rd largest of 25 barangays in Daet by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay VI (Pob.) accounted for approximately 1.71% of the total population of Daet, which stood at 111,700 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,081 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,911 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -8.2%, consistent with a contracting settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay VI (Pob.) as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Daet is a municipality comprising 25 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay VI (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Camarines Norte, which contains 282 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay VI (Pob.) ranks 127th by 2020 population.
