Barangay 8 (Pob.)

Barangay 8 (Pob.) is a very small barangay in the municipality of Dapa, located in the province of Surigao Del Norte, in the Caraga region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay 8 (Pob.) had a population of 211. This made it the 28th largest of 29 barangays in Dapa by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay 8 (Pob.) accounted for approximately 0.73% of the total population of Dapa, which stood at 29,006 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay 8 (Pob.) moving from 216 residents to 211 residents, an intercensal change of -2.3%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community.
