Barangay San Roque

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay San Roque is one of the administrative divisions of Daram in Samar, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay San Roque had a population of 1,009. This made it the 12th largest of 58 barangays in Daram by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Roque accounted for approximately 2.43% of the total population of Daram, which stood at 41,608 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay San Roque moving from 1,068 residents to 1,009 residents, an intercensal change of -5.5%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay San Roque is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
