Barangay Talisay

Barangay Talisay is a very small barangay in the municipality of Daram, located in the province of Samar, in the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Talisay had a population of 277. This made it the 55th largest of 58 barangays in Daram by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Talisay accounted for approximately 0.67% of the total population of Daram, which stood at 41,608 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Talisay moving from 244 residents to 277 residents, an intercensal change of +13.5%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Talisay is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
