Barangay Tambobong

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Tambobong is one of the administrative divisions of Dasol in Pangasinan, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Tambobong had a population of 2,089. This made it the 4th largest of 18 barangays in Dasol by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tambobong accounted for approximately 6.66% of the total population of Dasol, which stood at 31,355 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Tambobong changed from 1,658 to 2,089, a shift of +26.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Dasol. Barangay Tambobong is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Dasol is a municipality comprising 18 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Tambobong, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
