Barangay Benuatan

Situated in Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur, Barangay Benuatan is one of 30 barangays that make up the municipality within Zamboanga Peninsula.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Benuatan had a population of 2,595. This made it the 1st largest of 30 barangays in Dinas by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Benuatan accounted for approximately 7.15% of the total population of Dinas, which stood at 36,291 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Benuatan moving from 2,437 residents to 2,595 residents, an intercensal change of +6.5%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
