Barangay Libo-o

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Libo-o is one of the administrative divisions of Dingle in Iloilo, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Libo-o had a population of 1,660. This made it the 12th largest of 33 barangays in Dingle by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Libo-o accounted for approximately 3.61% of the total population of Dingle, which stood at 45,965 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Libo-o moving from 1,591 residents to 1,660 residents, an intercensal change of +4.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Libo-o as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Dingle is a municipality comprising 33 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Libo-o, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
