Barangay Nazuni

Barangay Nazuni is a small barangay in the municipality of Dingle, located in the province of Iloilo, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Nazuni had a population of 1,318. This made it the 19th largest of 33 barangays in Dingle by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Nazuni accounted for approximately 2.87% of the total population of Dingle, which stood at 45,965 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Nazuni moving from 1,368 residents to 1,318 residents, an intercensal change of -3.7%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Nazuni as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Dingle is a municipality comprising 33 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Nazuni, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
