Barangay San Matias

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay San Matias is one of the administrative divisions of Dingle in Iloilo, Western Visayas, Philippines.

This made it the 4th largest of 33 barangays in Dingle by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Matias accounted for approximately 4.47% of the total population of Dingle, which stood at 45,965 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay San Matias changed from 2,038 to 2,055, a shift of +0.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with slowly expanding populations in Dingle. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Matias as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
