Barangay Maligaya (Pob.)

Barangay Maligaya (Pob.) is a small barangay in the municipality of Dolores, located in the province of Quezon, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Maligaya (Pob.) had a population of 636. This made it the 14th largest of 16 barangays in Dolores by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Maligaya (Pob.) accounted for approximately 1.96% of the total population of Dolores, which stood at 32,514 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Maligaya (Pob.) changed from 629 to 636, a shift of +1.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with slowly expanding populations in Dolores. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Maligaya (Pob.) as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
