Barangay Tuno

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Tuno is one of the administrative divisions of Don Victoriano Chiongbian in Misamis Occidental, Northern Mindanao, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Tuno had a population of 1,443. This made it the 2nd largest of 11 barangays in Don Victoriano Chiongbian by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tuno accounted for approximately 14.93% of the total population of Don Victoriano Chiongbian, which stood at 9,664 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Tuno changed from 1,328 to 1,443, a shift of +8.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Don Victoriano Chiongbian. Barangay Tuno is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
