Barangay Cabacungan

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Cabacungan is one of the administrative divisions of Dulag in Leyte, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Cabacungan had a population of 3,362. This made it the 2nd largest of 45 barangays in Dulag by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Cabacungan accounted for approximately 6.86% of the total population of Dulag, which stood at 48,992 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Cabacungan moving from 3,337 residents to 3,362 residents, an intercensal change of +0.7%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community.
