Barangay Calubian

Barangay Calubian is a small barangay in the municipality of Dulag, located in the province of Leyte, in the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Calubian had a population of 1,383. This made it the 11th largest of 45 barangays in Dulag by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Calubian accounted for approximately 2.82% of the total population of Dulag, which stood at 48,992 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Calubian moving from 1,307 residents to 1,383 residents, an intercensal change of +5.8%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Calubian is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
