Barangay Pagdugue

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Pagdugue is one of the administrative divisions of Dumangas in Iloilo, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Pagdugue had a population of 2,738. This made it the 7th largest of 45 barangays in Dumangas by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pagdugue accounted for approximately 3.71% of the total population of Dumangas, which stood at 73,899 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Pagdugue moving from 2,247 residents to 2,738 residents, an intercensal change of +21.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Pagdugue as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
