Barangay Labangon

Barangay Labangon is a small barangay in the municipality of Dumingag, located in the province of Zamboanga Del Sur, in the Zamboanga Peninsula region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Labangon had a population of 1,380. This made it the 11th largest of 44 barangays in Dumingag by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Labangon accounted for approximately 2.82% of the total population of Dumingag, which stood at 48,881 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Labangon moving from 1,330 residents to 1,380 residents, an intercensal change of +3.8%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
