Barangay San Pedro (Pob.)

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay San Pedro (Pob.) is one of the administrative divisions of Dumingag in Zamboanga Del Sur, Zamboanga Peninsula, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Pedro (Pob.) had a population of 4,350. This made it the 1st largest of 44 barangays in Dumingag by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Pedro (Pob.) accounted for approximately 8.90% of the total population of Dumingag, which stood at 48,881 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 4,241 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 4,350 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +2.6%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Pedro (Pob.) as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Dumingag is a municipality comprising 44 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Pedro (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
