Situated in Dumingag, Zamboanga Del Sur, Barangay San Vicente is one of 44 barangays that make up the municipality within Zamboanga Peninsula.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Vicente had a population of 397. This made it the 40th largest of 44 barangays in Dumingag by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Vicente accounted for approximately 0.81% of the total population of Dumingag, which stood at 48,881 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 383 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 397 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +3.7%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Vicente as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
