Barangay Dammang East

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Dammang East is one of the administrative divisions of Echague in Isabela, Cagayan Valley, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Dammang East had a population of 1,245. This made it the 33rd largest of 64 barangays in Echague by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Dammang East accounted for approximately 1.41% of the total population of Echague, which stood at 88,410 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Dammang East changed from 1,233 to 1,245, a shift of +1.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with slowly expanding populations in Echague. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Dammang East as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Echague is a municipality comprising 64 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Dammang East, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
