Barangay Silauan Sur (Pob.)

Barangay Silauan Sur (Pob.) is a small barangay in the municipality of Echague, located in the province of Isabela, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Silauan Sur (Pob.) had a population of 1,906. This made it the 11th largest of 64 barangays in Echague by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Silauan Sur (Pob.) accounted for approximately 2.16% of the total population of Echague, which stood at 88,410 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Silauan Sur (Pob.) changed from 1,730 to 1,906, a shift of +10.2% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Echague.
