Barangay Lemu Norte

Barangay Lemu Norte is a small barangay in the municipality of Enrile, located in the province of Cagayan, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Lemu Norte had a population of 1,092. This made it the 16th largest of 22 barangays in Enrile by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Lemu Norte accounted for approximately 2.98% of the total population of Enrile, which stood at 36,705 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Lemu Norte moving from 1,230 residents to 1,092 residents, an intercensal change of -11.2%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Lemu Norte as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Enrile is a municipality comprising 22 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Lemu Norte, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
