Barangay Liwan Sur

Barangay Liwan Sur forms part of Enrile, a municipality in Cagayan, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Liwan Sur had a population of 1,277. This made it the 13th largest of 22 barangays in Enrile by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Liwan Sur accounted for approximately 3.48% of the total population of Enrile, which stood at 36,705 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Liwan Sur changed from 1,111 to 1,277, a shift of +14.9% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Enrile. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Liwan Sur as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
