Barangay Nagsingcaoan

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Nagsingcaoan is one of the administrative divisions of Galimuyod in Ilocos Sur, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Nagsingcaoan had a population of 354. This made it the 12th largest of 24 barangays in Galimuyod by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Nagsingcaoan accounted for approximately 3.46% of the total population of Galimuyod, which stood at 10,244 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Nagsingcaoan moving from 292 residents to 354 residents, an intercensal change of +21.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Nagsingcaoan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
