Situated in Garchitorena, Camarines Sur, Barangay Del Pilar is one of 23 barangays that make up the municipality within Bicol Region.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Del Pilar had a population of 1,277. This made it the 11th largest of 23 barangays in Garchitorena by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Del Pilar accounted for approximately 4.34% of the total population of Garchitorena, which stood at 29,436 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,143 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,277 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +11.7%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Del Pilar is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Garchitorena is a municipality comprising 23 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Del Pilar, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
