Barangay Fugu

Barangay Fugu is a very small barangay in the municipality of Gattaran, located in the province of Cagayan, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Fugu had a population of 1. This made it the 50th largest of 50 barangays in Gattaran by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Fugu accounted for approximately 0.00% of the total population of Gattaran, which stood at 58,874 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Fugu moving from 423 residents to 1 residents, an intercensal change of -99.8%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community.
