Barangay Guising

Barangay Guising forms part of Gattaran, a municipality in Cagayan, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Guising had a population of 1,094. This made it the 22nd largest of 50 barangays in Gattaran by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Guising accounted for approximately 1.86% of the total population of Gattaran, which stood at 58,874 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Guising moving from 1,106 residents to 1,094 residents, an intercensal change of -1.1%. The trajectory indicates a broadly stable community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Guising as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
