Barangay Poblacion III

Barangay Poblacion III is a small barangay in the municipality of General Emilio Aguinaldo, located in the province of Cavite, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Poblacion III had a population of 1,270. This made it the 10th largest of 14 barangays in General Emilio Aguinaldo by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Poblacion III accounted for approximately 5.30% of the total population of General Emilio Aguinaldo, which stood at 23,973 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Poblacion III changed from 1,301 to 1,270, a shift of -2.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in General Emilio Aguinaldo. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Poblacion III as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

General Emilio Aguinaldo is a municipality comprising 14 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Poblacion III, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
