Barangay Pula

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Pula is one of the administrative divisions of General Mamerto Natividad in Nueva Ecija, Central Luzon, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Pula had a population of 731. This made it the 19th largest of 20 barangays in General Mamerto Natividad by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pula accounted for approximately 1.65% of the total population of General Mamerto Natividad, which stood at 44,311 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Pula changed from 674 to 731, a shift of +8.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in General Mamerto Natividad. Barangay Pula is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

General Mamerto Natividad is a municipality comprising 20 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Pula, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Nueva Ecija, which contains 849 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Pula ranks 779th by 2020 population.
