Barangay Magsikap

Barangay Magsikap is a small barangay in the municipality of General Nakar, located in the province of Quezon, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Magsikap had a population of 1,894. This made it the 6th largest of 19 barangays in General Nakar by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Magsikap accounted for approximately 5.53% of the total population of General Nakar, which stood at 34,225 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Magsikap moving from 1,641 residents to 1,894 residents, an intercensal change of +15.4%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Magsikap is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
