Barangay Pagsangahan

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Pagsangahan is one of the administrative divisions of General Nakar in Quezon, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Pagsangahan had a population of 1,733. This made it the 7th largest of 19 barangays in General Nakar by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pagsangahan accounted for approximately 5.06% of the total population of General Nakar, which stood at 34,225 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Pagsangahan moving from 2,120 residents to 1,733 residents, an intercensal change of -18.3%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Pagsangahan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
