Barangay Padapada

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Padapada is one of the administrative divisions of Gerona in Tarlac, Central Luzon, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Padapada had a population of 1,327. This made it the 36th largest of 44 barangays in Gerona by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Padapada accounted for approximately 1.40% of the total population of Gerona, which stood at 94,485 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Padapada changed from 1,334 to 1,327, a shift of -0.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with broadly stable populations in Gerona. Barangay Padapada is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Gerona is a municipality comprising 44 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Padapada, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Tarlac, which contains 511 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Padapada ranks 371st by 2020 population. Tarlac is classified as a 1st by the Bureau of Local Government Finance, a category that reflects the province's annual regular income.
