This made it the 4th largest of 44 barangays in Gerona by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pinasling accounted for approximately 3.92% of the total population of Gerona, which stood at 94,485 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Pinasling moving from 3,775 residents to 3,701 residents, an intercensal change of -2.0%. The trajectory indicates a broadly stable community.
