Barangay Villa Paz

Barangay Villa Paz is a small barangay in the municipality of Gerona, located in the province of Tarlac, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Villa Paz had a population of 1,818. This made it the 22nd largest of 44 barangays in Gerona by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Villa Paz accounted for approximately 1.92% of the total population of Gerona, which stood at 94,485 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Villa Paz changed from 1,616 to 1,818, a shift of +12.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Gerona. Barangay Villa Paz is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Gerona is a municipality comprising 44 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Villa Paz, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
