Barangay Dororian

Barangay Dororian forms part of Gigmoto, a municipality in Catanduanes, and is classified as a small barangay.

This made it the 2nd largest of 9 barangays in Gigmoto by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. The barangay recorded 1,312 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,445 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +10.1%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Dororian as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Gigmoto is a municipality comprising 9 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Dororian, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
