Barangay President Roxas

Barangay President Roxas is a very small barangay in the municipality of Giporlos, located in the province of Eastern Samar, in the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay President Roxas had a population of 323. This made it the 15th largest of 18 barangays in Giporlos by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay President Roxas accounted for approximately 2.46% of the total population of Giporlos, which stood at 13,117 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay President Roxas moving from 371 residents to 323 residents, an intercensal change of -12.9%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay President Roxas as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
