Barangay Mudan

Situated in Glan, Sarangani, Barangay Mudan is one of 31 barangays that make up the municipality within SOCCSKSARGEN.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Mudan had a population of 2,369. This made it the 21st largest of 31 barangays in Glan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Mudan accounted for approximately 2.16% of the total population of Glan, which stood at 109,547 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Mudan moving from 2,654 residents to 2,369 residents, an intercensal change of -10.7%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Mudan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
