Barangay Flourishing (Pob.)

Situated in Gonzaga, Cagayan, Barangay Flourishing (Pob.) is one of 25 barangays that make up the municipality within Cagayan Valley.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Flourishing (Pob.) had a population of 1,929. This made it the 9th largest of 25 barangays in Gonzaga by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Flourishing (Pob.) accounted for approximately 4.63% of the total population of Gonzaga, which stood at 41,680 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,874 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,929 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +2.9%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Flourishing (Pob.) as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
