Barangay Cabaruan

Barangay Cabaruan is a small barangay in the municipality of Guimba, located in the province of Nueva Ecija, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Cabaruan had a population of 1,830. This made it the 28th largest of 64 barangays in Guimba by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Cabaruan accounted for approximately 1.43% of the total population of Guimba, which stood at 127,653 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Cabaruan moving from 1,650 residents to 1,830 residents, an intercensal change of +10.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Cabaruan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
