Barangay Lamorito

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Lamorito is one of the administrative divisions of Guimba in Nueva Ecija, Central Luzon, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Lamorito had a population of 1,333. This made it the 41st largest of 64 barangays in Guimba by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Lamorito accounted for approximately 1.04% of the total population of Guimba, which stood at 127,653 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Lamorito changed from 1,408 to 1,333, a shift of -5.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Guimba. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Lamorito as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Guimba is a municipality comprising 64 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Lamorito, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
