Barangay Manggang Marikit

Situated in Guimba, Nueva Ecija, Barangay Manggang Marikit is one of 64 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Luzon.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Manggang Marikit had a population of 2,934. This made it the 13th largest of 64 barangays in Guimba by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Manggang Marikit accounted for approximately 2.30% of the total population of Guimba, which stood at 127,653 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,564 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,934 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +14.4%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Manggang Marikit as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Guimba is a municipality comprising 64 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Manggang Marikit, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
