Barangay San Vicente

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay San Vicente is one of the administrative divisions of Gutalac in Zamboanga Del Norte, Zamboanga Peninsula, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Vicente had a population of 1,247. This made it the 13th largest of 33 barangays in Gutalac by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Vicente accounted for approximately 3.46% of the total population of Gutalac, which stood at 36,090 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay San Vicente moving from 1,596 residents to 1,247 residents, an intercensal change of -21.9%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Vicente as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Gutalac is a municipality comprising 33 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Vicente, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
