Barangay Pa-a

Situated in Hilongos, Leyte, Barangay Pa-a is one of 51 barangays that make up the municipality within Eastern Visayas.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Pa-a had a population of 1,140. This made it the 21st largest of 51 barangays in Hilongos by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pa-a accounted for approximately 1.77% of the total population of Hilongos, which stood at 64,514 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Pa-a moving from 1,095 residents to 1,140 residents, an intercensal change of +4.1%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
