Barangay Kibenton

Barangay Kibenton forms part of Impasug-Ong, a municipality in Bukidnon, and is classified as a mid-sized barangay.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Kibenton had a population of 4,977. This made it the 4th largest of 13 barangays in Impasug-Ong by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Kibenton accounted for approximately 9.24% of the total population of Impasug-Ong, which stood at 53,863 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Kibenton changed from 4,242 to 4,977, a shift of +17.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Impasug-Ong. Barangay Kibenton is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Impasug-Ong is a municipality comprising 13 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Kibenton, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
