Barangay Bugang

Situated in Inabanga, Bohol, Barangay Bugang is one of 50 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Bugang had a population of 826. This made it the 27th largest of 50 barangays in Inabanga by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bugang accounted for approximately 1.70% of the total population of Inabanga, which stood at 48,534 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Bugang moving from 810 residents to 826 residents, an intercensal change of +2.0%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Bugang as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
