Barangay Cagawasan

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Cagawasan is one of the administrative divisions of Inabanga in Bohol, Central Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Cagawasan had a population of 1,567. This made it the 5th largest of 50 barangays in Inabanga by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Cagawasan accounted for approximately 3.23% of the total population of Inabanga, which stood at 48,534 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Cagawasan moving from 1,452 residents to 1,567 residents, an intercensal change of +7.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Cagawasan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
