Situated in Infanta, Quezon, Barangay Binonoan is one of 36 barangays that make up the municipality within CALABARZON.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Binonoan had a population of 1,457. This made it the 21st largest of 36 barangays in Infanta by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Binonoan accounted for approximately 1.91% of the total population of Infanta, which stood at 76,186 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,453 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,457 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +0.3%, consistent with a slowly expanding settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Binonoan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Infanta is a municipality comprising 36 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Binonoan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
