Barangay Bamban

Situated in Infanta, Pangasinan, Barangay Bamban is one of 13 barangays that make up the municipality within Ilocos Region.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Bamban had a population of 3,025. This made it the 3rd largest of 13 barangays in Infanta by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bamban accounted for approximately 11.53% of the total population of Infanta, which stood at 26,242 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Bamban changed from 2,864 to 3,025, a shift of +5.6% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Infanta. Barangay Bamban is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Infanta is a municipality comprising 13 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Bamban, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
