Barangay Domandan

Barangay Domandan is a small barangay in the municipality of Ipil, located in the province of Zamboanga Sibugay, in the Zamboanga Peninsula region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Domandan had a population of 522. This made it the 28th largest of 28 barangays in Ipil by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Domandan accounted for approximately 0.58% of the total population of Ipil, which stood at 89,401 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Domandan moving from 773 residents to 522 residents, an intercensal change of -32.5%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Domandan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
