Barangay Tomitom

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Tomitom is one of the administrative divisions of Ipil in Zamboanga Sibugay, Zamboanga Peninsula, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Tomitom had a population of 1,045. This made it the 23rd largest of 28 barangays in Ipil by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tomitom accounted for approximately 1.17% of the total population of Ipil, which stood at 89,401 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Tomitom moving from 974 residents to 1,045 residents, an intercensal change of +7.3%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Tomitom is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
