Barangay Virac

Barangay Virac is a large barangay in the municipality of Itogon, located in the province of Benguet, in the CAR region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Virac had a population of 10,796. This made it the 2nd largest of 9 barangays in Itogon by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Virac accounted for approximately 17.56% of the total population of Itogon, which stood at 61,498 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Virac moving from 10,990 residents to 10,796 residents, an intercensal change of -1.8%. The trajectory indicates a broadly stable community.
