Barangay Maraiging

Situated in Jabonga, Agusan Del Norte, Barangay Maraiging is one of 15 barangays that make up the municipality within Caraga.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Maraiging had a population of 526. This made it the 15th largest of 15 barangays in Jabonga by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Maraiging accounted for approximately 2.12% of the total population of Jabonga, which stood at 24,855 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Maraiging moving from 518 residents to 526 residents, an intercensal change of +1.5%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community.
